You took me into the woods and kissed me softly.

and for awhile we stayed there,

and forgot there was a world.

Me and my friends like to hide from the world.

But it always finds us..

Find something beautiful in the most ugliest things.

Sparks flew that night, as you weaved your fingers through mine.

and then, as we walked along the beach.

You leaned in and whispered "I love you".

My first instinct was to think you were lying.

Now I know why.

We danced all night, looking like fools to the passer byes.

But we smiled, and laughed.

and in the end,

These are the things that we'll remember when we are in our rocking chairs,

Thinking back on the days when they called us the dancers of the night.

Desert of the Deserted.

Why did I hurt the one's I love?

I just want one person who loves me to save me now.

but there isn't a person in site.

Oh lonely me.

If we aren't careful we hurt ourselves in the end

taking things for granted

We take the tiniest things for granted.

We so often fail to see the beauty in life.

When there is beauty all around.

We just aren't looking hard enough.
